A Collaborative Divorce Coach is a trained mental health professional who works with people going through separation, divorce, and remarriage in a collaborative process. The coach has training and is an expert in family dynamics, communication skills, and the collaborative law process. William Walker and Brian Ellis are our Collaborative Divorce Coaches here at Thriving Families.
Collaborative Divorce begins with the mutual decision of divorce. Next, individuals choose a collaborative team, which is where Thriving Families comes in. Thriving Families will work with you and your lawyers to ensure all decisions are agreed upon so a divorce can be filed with confidence.
The goal of Collaborative Divorce is to negotiate a win-win solution that meets the needs of both parties, without litigation. Thriving Families is committed to managing conflict outside of the court room.
