You can book an appointment with Thriving Families Counseling Services via our client portal. If you are a new customer, consult our services page or reach out to our office.


Thriving Families Counseling Services offers a variety of counseling services, including individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, collaborative divorce coaching, and reunification therapy.


Thriving Families Counseling Services provides services for individuals ages 6 and up.

The frequency of sessions will be determined by you and your therapist dependent on your specific needs and services.


Every individual should bring a copy of their insurance card to their first appointment.

At Thriving Families Counseling Services, we keep confidentiality as a high standard for our clients. Legally, there are some exceptions to this clause.


Iowa law and ethical codes require the protection and confidentiality of client records and information. Our therapists may disclose information without a client's consent in certain situations, including:

  • If the client or others are in imminent danger 
  • If the client is being involuntarily committed 
  • If the therapist is reporting abuse or neglect 
  • If the client has planned suicide or violence towards others 
  • If the client has a history of child abuse 
  • If the therapist is ordered to disclose information by a court 
  • If the therapist is required to disclose information to initiate or complete civil commitment proceedings


Yes, we do offer telehealth sessions. Please get in touch with our office to learn more about this counseling option.


Our hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Monday through Friday.

Saturday and Sunday are by appointment only.


Our address is 1741 Grade Ave. West Des Moines, IA 50265.
